On the estate are two farmhouses ‘The Limonia’ facing each other across an orchard of peaches, plums, figs and vines.
Originally used for milling flour, and the making of wine, they have recently been restored to a very high standard: Tuscan colours, cotto tiles and original beams throughout. They have their own drive through the woods.

Both houses have open fireplaces, Sky TV, superb kitchens, laundry rooms and terraces with
outdoor furniture for eating al fresco. They are suitable to be hired either separately or together for friends and extended family.
They provide a good base for visiting the Rennaissance centres of Florence, Pisa, Sienna, and our own lovely nearby city of Lucca, the seaside is just 30 minutes drive, or you can explore the 'natural parks' of the Garfagna mountains.
The nearest village - Ponte a Moriano - with its family-run trattoria and small shops is just ten minutes walk away.

Limonia Piccola
Upstairs one double bedroom en suite, two twin bedrooms with shared bathroom, sleeps a total
of 6. Below the charming kitchen and dining area opening onto a terrace for al- fresco dining seating 10. The sitting room is comfortable with seating in front of a large fireplace, its rustic setting with restored beams, and cotto tiles also allows for satellite TV, video and DVD. There is a secret staircase leading to a beautifully restored old cantina. Limonia Piccola is ideal for 1 or 2
couples with children, or for a small group of friends.

Limonia Grande
Five bedrooms, two double en suite, and one twin-bedded ensuite, the other two sharing a bathroom sleeping a total of 10. One bedroom with en-suite bathroom is reached from the main staircase through
a small studio, it has a four poster bed and French windows opening on to the garden, it is as romantic as can be. The large sitting room with comfortable seating, open fire place, satellite TV, video and DVD, has French windows to the orchard. Down some steps is the dining room and kitchen opening on to a terrace overlooking the swimming pool. There is another terrace for eating al fresco which has a barbeque. The swimming pool measures 14 x 8 metres, is safely fenced and has a children's area at one end.
